This place is one out of the box. The décor is trippy: Art Noveauish chandeliers, Regencyish chairs, and in the booths a colour scheme that recalls the womb. The coffee is slightly undergunned but flavoursome nevertheless. Fine Afghans. Best of all is that Baci Lounge is actually an independent bookshop, owned by Sharad Paul, who is about to publish a novel about Tamil eunuchs and politics. |
