The month of March is packed with exciting and fun Pacific events and culture throughout Auckland, the biggest Polynesian city in the world.
From the large scale Pasifika Festival (usually at Western Springs) and ASB Polyfest, to the thought provoking Mau Forum, there's art, music, dance, theatre, workshops, seminars, exhibitions, sport, food, crafts, and much more to tempt the entire family.
Welcome, savour, sing, dance, listen, share, learn, laugh and enjoy the culture and events of Auckland's Pacific peoples!

Auckland Arrival and Touring
Auckland International Airport is 20km south of the city centre. This trip usually takes between 30 and 40 minutes. We recommend either a taxi (approximately NZ$60) or a shuttle (approximately NZ$30 per person) for your transfer to Auckland Central. It is not necessary to book ahead.

There are a good range of tour options available in Auckland for wineries, the sparkling Waitemata Harbour and the stunning islands of the surrounding Hauraki Gulf. Venturing a little further afield with a car rental will reward visitors with fabulous beaches ranging from the sheltered golden, white and shelly east coast beaches to the more wild and spiritually stimulating black sand beaches of the wild west coast, set amidst superb NZ native trees and ferns. A list of recommended operators and rental companies is set out below.
